Whether you're taking your skis in for a base grind, or your once-fresh wax has seen a little too much dirt, pollen, dust, or other gunk, a high-quality wax means starting with a nice, clean base. Join Wend founder John Dahl as he demonstrates the best way to clean your ski or snowboard base, with one of our most renowned tech products, MF Natural Base Cleaner & Conditioner:

BOTTLE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Shake the bottle of MF Natural Base Cleaner & Conditioner before use.
2. Spread the Cleaner & Conditioner liquid over the base of your skis or snowboard, running a thin line of liquid down the base in a zig-zag pattern.
3. Use a clean microfiber cloth to rub the Cleaner & Conditioner into the full width and length of the base.
4. Be amazed at the amount of dirt and contaminants our Cleaner & Conditioner initially removes from your bases!
5. Brush your bases to loosen contaminants. 
6. Let your bases sit for 10-20 minutes. The bases will haze over and look dried out. 
7. Once fully dry, thoroughly brush the bases, then buff them to a shine with a clean microfiber cloth before waxing. 
8. You're now ready for a fresh application of new Wend wax for your temperature and conditions needs. 

LIQUID TOWELETTE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Open the MF Natural Base Cleaner & Conditioner towelette packaging. 
2. With the towelette, spread the Cleaner & Conditioner over the base of your skis or snowboard. One towelette should be enough to cover 2-4 ski bases or 1-2 snowboard bases. 
3. Be amazed at the amount of dirt and contaminants our Cleaner & Conditioner initially removes from your bases!
4. Brush your bases to loosen contaminants. 
5. Let your bases sit for 10-20 minutes. The bases will haze over and look dried out. 
6. Once fully dry, thoroughly brush the bases, then buff them to a shine with a clean microfiber cloth before waxing. 
7. You're now ready for a fresh application of new Wend wax for your temperature and conditions needs.
