Designed for unmatched speed out of the starting gate, Speed Boost Race Overlay is an ultra-fast, super non-polar, competition-specific wax applied as a final thin layer after Wend race wax.  

What’s the secret to this speed? Our unique Speed Boost additive uses branched molecules to bring more carbon atoms, giving you greater non-polarity and unmatched hydrophobic glide for short, intense bursts. Apply quickly on the hill between race runs — just rub on, cork your base, and buff with a microfiber. When the podium comes down to thousandths of a second, these thin overlays give your starts an initial surge of speed to make the most of your run. Non-toxic, biodegradable, and fluorofree.

Speed Boost Race Overlay is quick to apply and the Universal formula works in a wide range from 10° to 40°F / -12° to 4°C temps with old, new, and artificial snow. Application is simple, and can be done on the hill - just rub the wax on your base, cork it, and buff the base to finish. Like all Wend waxes, Speed Boost Race Overlay uses only fluoro-free, biodegradable, non-toxic ingredients that achieve elite-level performance previously associated only with high-fluoro waxes.
